About Paul Priz

Over the last 20 years I have developed extensive experience in the small business sector in a wide variety of roles. During my nine years as owner/manager of Victor Tyrepower, I employed several staff, tripling turnover in that time and earning profits considerably exceeding the industry standard.

To augment my extensive ‘coalface’ knowledge, I have devoted the last three and a half years to earning marketing and management qualifications in order to gain a theoretical context within which to understand and build on my practical business experience. I have a demonstrated ability to understand technical and complex
systems, products and services and — perhaps more importantly — a capacity to communicate that understanding to others in language they can comprehend.

 I attempted this course to get a sense of how to write a story and attempt a style that is more engaging than the usual academic writing.
